The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the HR Manager and provides administrative and operational support to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of human resources services across all CEG locations. This position plays a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle by coordinating recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, compliance, employee communications, and HR programs while helping maintain consistent HR practices throughout the organization.

• Administering employee benefit programs, including enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and terminations. Processes required documentation through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate records and benefit deductions.
• Serves as a primary HR resource for employees across all CEG locations by responding to questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, leave administration, and employment processes.
• Coordinates recruitment activities, including posting positions, reviewing applicant status, scheduling interviews, maintaining candidate records in the HRIS, and communicating with applicants throughout the hiring process.
• Schedules and coordinates pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, reference checks, and new hire orientation.
• Conducts and supports new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Maintains accurate and confidential employee personnel files, HR records, and documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Performs routine audits of personnel files, benefit records, I-9 documentation, HRIS data, and other HR records to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Maintains employee information within ADP Workforce Now and other HR systems, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
• Assists with leave administration, including tracking employee leaves, coordinating documentation, and communicating with employees and managers throughout the leave process.
• Assists with benefits administration, annual open enrollment, employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, company meetings, and special events.
• Coordinates HR communications and supports the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives across all CEG locations.
• Provides administrative support to the HR Manager and assists with special HR projects as assigned.
• Supports and complies with the Quality Management System requirements established by CEG and ISO 9001:2015.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize ADP Workforce Now, HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and related software.

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) or more years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now, including employee data management, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, and reporting strongly preferred.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or comparable HR certification preferred.

Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator 

Wage Range: Non-Exempt 

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour dependent on experience, skill level, and education.

In Office Position | Monday thru Friday | 8am to 5pm
