Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding part-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students in grades K-8 in the southwest metro area near Syracuse, NY. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference within the school setting, facilitating crucial speech and language services to help young learners reach their potential.

This position offers a consistent daily schedule, running from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, four days each week, totaling 21 sessions weekly. You'll collaborate with school staff and families to create positive outcomes for diverse students in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Background in school-based settings, with experience serving K-8 preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals related to speech and language needs
• Comfortable with group and one-on-one sessions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
• Maintain timely and accurate records of student progress and session notes
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Engage professionally with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
