Phlebotomist III Floater

Location: Grand Blanc, MI

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours ranging from 6:00am-7:00pm; rotating Saturdays approximately every 2-3 weeks from 8:30am-12:00pm

What You'll Do

• Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary techniques from pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Verify patient identification, demographics, and specimen labeling accuracy
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company standards
• Travel between multiple patient service centers and physician office locations as needed
• Perform specimen collection and processing duties with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Support operational needs through schedule flexibility and coverage at various locations

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Previous experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Medical assistant, paramedic training, or phlebotomy certification preferred
• Strong specimen collection, processing, and patient interaction skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and travel between locations as needed
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
