The Production Associate (Leach/IWT Operator) is responsible for providing accurate paperwork and record keeping. A successful candidate must have the ability to use measuring and test equipment as required, follow all company rules and policies as well as OSHA/EPA regulations. This position reports to the supervisor, is part of the Fiber Web Department located in Deland, FL and will be an on-site role. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To Remove (leach) the copper coating from wire by submerging it into an acid solution using an overhead industrial crane. Operate and monitor water/wastewater treatment systems while meeting environmental, safety, and quality standards. Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include High school diploma, GED or equivalent with 2 years of work experience. Ability to perform accurate record keeping and utilize basic math skills. Ability to use measuring equipment (calipers and micrometers) and test equipment. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements Ability to climb, stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours per day. Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in Working with Hazardous Chemicals. Working with environmental regulations. Working with steel microfibers in a heavy manufacturing environment. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
