Job Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Valid Utah Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain) Valid Utah-approved Alcohol Server Training certification (or ability to obtain prior to beginning alcohol service) Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Responsible, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well as part of a team Compensation Starting Pay: $2.13/hr (plus tips!) Tips can make a big difference! Average hourly earnings with tips vary by location, shift, and hours worked. As a Via 313 Server, you'll: Welcome guests and deliver genuine Detroit-style hospitality Take accurate food and beverage orders and help guests navigate our menu Recommend pizzas, drinks, and other Via 313 favorites based on what your guests are craving Stay one step ahead by checking in, anticipating needs, and keeping the experience moving Work closely with the kitchen, bar, hosts, and fellow servers to keep service running smoothly Keep tables and service areas clean, organized, and ready for the next guest Process guest payments accurately and efficiently Follow food safety, responsible alcohol service, and health department standards Jump in and support your Via fam when things get busy Bring positive energy to every shift At Via 313, great service isn't about simply taking an order and dropping off a pizza.
