Job Description Summary:

$7,500 SIGN-ON BONUS\n
\nExternal applicants and newly licensed internal applicants may be eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment. Previously employed applicants who have been gone from the organization more than 90 days may also be eligible.\n

\nDublin Methodist Hospital is hiring a part-time CT Technologist to work 11a-11:30p every Monday and Wednesday. The technologist will also be in the on-call and holiday rotation.\n
\n
\nThe CT Technologist operates computed tomography scanners for a variety of procedures following directives of staff radiologists.  The position is responsible for explaining procedures to the patients, administering contrast media as requested, and scheduling patients in an organized manner.  All duties performed per approved protocol.  \n

Responsibilities And Duties:

\n

Obtains patient clinical history for procedure.\n
\nReviews lab values and screens patient for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media.\n
\nAdministers oral and IV contrast media\n
\nOperates CT scanners for variety of procedures.\n
\nCoordinates workload with other clinical sections and departments.\n
\nMonitors quality in patient care functions. \n
\n
\n
\nAs a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.  \n

Minimum Qualifications:

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT-DOH - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License from Ohio Department of Health - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association\n

Graduate of an accredited radiography program ODH Ohio Radiologic License

BLS- Certification

\n

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
