Job Summary
The Dishwasher plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting the culinary and service teams at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill. This position is responsible for maintaining the flow of clean dishes, cookware, and equipment while upholding the highest standards of sanitation and organization. By keeping the kitchen running efficiently and safely, the Dishwasher helps ensure a seamless guest experience and supports the overall success of the restaurant.
Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish stations, kitchen floors, and back-of-house areas
Support kitchen and service teams by keeping clean equipment readily available
Remove trash, recycling, and food waste according to safety and sanitation standards
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures (including proper chemical handling)
Assist with basic kitchen prep or cleaning tasks as needed
Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety
Team-oriented mindset with a positive, hardworking attitude
Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is a plus, but not required
- Proper practice of sanitation and general hygiene
- Ability to read and/or follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to perform in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Pay: $16 / hour
