Acute Care - Physicians Assistant / Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team in Northern California. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care to individuals and families of all ages, with a focus on preventive care, health promotion, and disease management. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; analyze results to diagnose conditions.
• Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized care to manage or prevent illness and injury.
• Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting.
• Explain procedures, discuss test results, and detail prescribed treatments with patients.
• Document patient findings, treatment plans, and follow-up notes in the electronic medical record.
• Oversee and direct professional and ancillary staff in patient care.
• Stay informed about current medical practices and advancements.
• Uphold strict confidentiality of patient information.

Education & Certifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program preferred.
• Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner required.
• California State licensure.
• Current DEA licensure.
• BLS Certification.

Experience:

• 1 year of experience as a FNP preferred but not required
