Embark on a rewarding nursing opportunity supporting a single student in a school setting in the Olympia, WA area! This full-time, onsite contract role spans the entire 2026-2027 academic year and will be crucial in providing attentive, compassionate care for a medically fragile child.

Your expertise as an LPN/LVN will make a positive daily impact. The role entails dedicated one-on-one care, including riding the bus with the student to and from school and managing the child’s needs throughout the school day. Comfort with feeding tubes is essential to ensure safety and quality of life. This position requires someone with patience, empathy, and strong clinical judgement.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Washington State LPN License (or willingness to obtain)
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Experience or comfort with feeding tube management
• Willingness to be fingerprinted through OSPI (or able to complete this process before start)
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 2026-2027 school year
• Compassionate, reliable, and supportive approach to nursing care

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing to a fragile student at school and during bus transport
• Administer routine and emergency medical support as outlined in the student’s care plan
• Safeguard student’s wellbeing and dignity in collaboration with staff and family
• Keep accurate records and communicate observations as needed
