Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIESUnderstanding and ability to work each position throughout the building.Train new hires one on one in each section of logisticsEnsure all new hires have proper training on aspects of logistics and safety operations.Review and inspect trailers as a final decision based on safety and ISO/SQF standardsTake and score highly on all yearly HR required MyDevelopment Courses, and any other courses that are deemed necessary:Understand that professional conduct is expected at all timesHave the availability to work any shift and cover for vacations as neededPerform any other required task as directedWork in sections when short staffed or needed for assistance in Molding and ThermoMake and receive calls between departments to facilitate communication and conveyance of materials as neededCoach or redirect team members to ensure tasks are being completedMaintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department requirementsAUTHORITIESMonitor inventory control to maximize warehouse utilizationRequest missing inventory to be removed by the inventory teamRead and send emails to ensure complete communication as neededUnderstands and will adhere to all ISO & SQF guidelines and policiesQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma/GED equivalentProven decision making and demonstrated respect among peersMust be able to meet all the above responsibilities to perform the jobExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong PC and analytical skillsStrong organizational skills and proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneouslyProven ability to understand all DcLink, JDE, Excel, and any other in-house software programs implementedFork truck certification requiredAble to work independently in a potentially isolated area of the buildingOur ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
