Registered Nurse RN - Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

Location: Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston, ME

Full-time | Nights | 7p7a | 12-Hour Shifts

The CCU Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct, high-quality patient care to adults with cardiac conditions in the Coronary Care Unit. Utilizes the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationto monitor cardiac status, respond to changes in patient condition, and implement evidence-based interventions. Collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team, directs patient and family education, supervises other nursing personnel, and ensures CCU standards of care, patient safety, and confidentiality are consistently maintained.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
