Senior Frontend Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and scale the core user-facing experiences of the Made platform across web and mobile. You'll own major features end-to-end, mentor junior engineers, and help establish best practices for frontend development. This role is ideal for someone who wants to stay hands-on while also stepping into a technical leadership position.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of core features across mobile (Flutter) and web (React/Next.js).
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build intuitive, high-quality experiences.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, coding standards, and reusable component libraries.
• Ensure applications are performant, accessible, and reliable at scale.
• Guide junior engineers through code reviews and best practices.
• Proactively identify areas for technical and process improvements, bringing forward ideas to raise the bar.

Ideal Background

• 5–8+ years of frontend engineering experience, including senior-level responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Flutter (Dart) for mobile and React/Next.js (or similar frameworks) for web applications.
• Proven track record of owning and shipping high-quality, user-facing features.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive design, and frontend performance.
• Experience mentoring teammates and influencing engineering standards.
• Comfortable collaborating across product, design, and backend teams.
