Job Description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Assemblers for a plastics manufacturing client in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The Assembler puts together pre-manufactured or purchased parts into products and packs, and prepares product for transfer to the Distribution Department. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($15.13/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shift: 1st Shift - 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM - Pay increase after 30 days on assignment
Responsibilities of the Assembler:

• Assembles boxes, pallets, and labels, etc. to receive finished goods.
• Inspects and performs minor repairs such as trimming flash or cutting gates, applies labels to products retrieved from the machines or material handling equipment
• Assembles parts to form products, pre-manufactured bulk packed parts into finished goods for sale. Assembles other parts as needed.
• Packs products into boxes for sale or case packs products according to instructions provided.
• Operates manual shrink machine by checking oven temperatures, selecting correct size bag, and hand sealing the bag.
• Operates the auto machine by checking the oven temperatures, feeding the product onto the conveyor belt, and completing roll changes.
• Operates packaging equipment such as the taping machine.
• Properly accounts for all products by completing necessary paperwork so production and inventory results can be accurately reported.

Required Qualifications of the Assembler:

• Knowledge of basic math.
• Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
• Ability to frequently stand and walk, exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
