Midwest PMS LLC is seeking a night shift Feedmill Operator for our Garden City, Kansas location. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our feedmill equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality animal feed.

As a Feedmill Operator, you will be trained in all aspects of the manufacturing process. You will work alongside a culturally diverse crew as you spend time working in all-production areas in the plant. Working in a Safe Feed/Safe Food certified facility, you will be involved in the Quality Control/Quality Assurance process. Duties will vary daily depending on changing business conditions. This is a key entry-level position to develop Feedmill Operators.

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Hours : Nightshift 3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (Second Shift)

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain feedmill equipment, including mixers, grinders, conveyors, and pellet mills

- Monitor and adjust feedmill equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation

- Follow established procedures to ensure the production of high-quality animal feed

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of feedmill equipment

- Maintain accurate records of feedmill production and inventory

- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations

- Communicate effectively with team members and management

- Participate in daily safety meetings

- Perform daily production tasks

- Daily work area clean up and restocking after shift

- Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager

- Able to easily adapt to changing conditions

Qualifications:

- Willingness to learn and be an essential part of the production team

- Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication

- Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment

- Requires frequent heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.

- Candidates must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

- Candidates must have valid documentation to be able to work in the U.S.
