Whitecap Search Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated CASAC Counselor to join our team in Long Island City. In this role, you'll provide counseling, treatment planning, and therapeutic support within a structured residential and outpatient treatment setting, helping clients build the skills and confidence needed for long-term success.
Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, family, and multi-family counseling
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and recovery plans
- Utilize motivational interviewing and other evidence-based treatment approaches
- Support clients in managing cravings, triggers, and behavioral challenges
- Facilitate therapeutic groups, community meetings, and recovery-focused activities
- Respond effectively to crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Foster a safe, supportive, and therapeutic treatment environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support client progress
Qualifications
- CASAC certification in good standing
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a substance use disorder or behavioral health treatment setting

Pay: $30-$36 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
