Duties and responsibilities:
- Machine maintenance, breaking down equipment when needed, helping to adjust and set up equipment for daily production.
- Overseeing preventative maintenance, which includes daily and weekly inspection of all machinery.
- Light plumbing, electrical, welding and carpentry when needed
- Work with the Maintenance Manager to recommend machine upgrades to boost efficiency
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Experience with food packaging machines is required. Examples: Multivac Tray Sealers, Multivac Thermoforms, Weber (high-speed) Slicers and other equipment
- Experience with process equipment such as Weber Slicers, Pick and Pack Automation is required
- Advanced mechanical and electrical skills
- Able to read engineering schematics such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic and pneumatic
- Experienced in HVAC a plus
- Pneumatic Equipment
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work in a refrigerated environment
- Fixed daily hours Monday - Friday - Day (2:30pm to 11:30pm)
- Occasional overtime/weekend work as needed.
- Hourly wage: $30 to $40
