About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with job.com to find a qualified OR RN in Concord, Massachusetts, 01742!

• Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical and invasive procedures.
• Prepare and maintain operating rooms with appropriate equipment, instruments, and sterile supplies.
• Verify patient identity, procedure, and consent in accordance with facility policy.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist during operative procedures.
• Monitor and assess patients’ status intraoperatively, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
• Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Document all aspects of nursing care accurately and promptly in the patient’s medical record.
• Participate in call rotations and respond promptly to surgical emergencies when on-call.
• Support turnover between surgical cases, ensuring efficient workflow and timely readiness for subsequent procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training, skills validation, and continuing education to maintain professional competency.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License (required)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (any setting)
• Operating Room experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced perioperative environment
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR safety protocols
