- Design beautiful floral arrangements following in-store, event, and wire service recipes
- Create custom floral designs to capture customer preferences, themes, and budgets
- Consult directly with clients to ensure their vision is brought to life
- Package and prepare all designs for safe and timely delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring work area
- Collaborate with other designers and team members to ensure smooth shop operations
- Provide exceptional service and uphold Centerville Florists' reputation for quality and care
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Proven background in fresh-cut floral design (a portfolio is a plus)
- Availability: Must be available on Saturdays and major floral holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, proms, and homecomings
- Personality: Creative, dependable, and team-oriented - able to adapt to last-minute orders with grace and efficiency
- Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and design balance
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Basic computer skills (Windows / Office); willing to learn floral POS systems
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30 lbs
- Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
