Shipping Associate As a Shipping Associate your high level of accuracy and productivity helps us ensure our customers receive the correct unit that was ordered. This role is an essential part of our delivery and customer service. You will be relied upon to verify that the transmission sent matches the order, adhering shipping labels to pods, and packing additional items per order. Company Expectations Bring a positive attitude and support your teammates Focus on quality and keep customer satisfaction at the center of everything you do Follow established policies and processes, while staying flexible as things evolve Show up on time, stay engaged, and work with passion, urgency, and focus Aim to not only meet but exceed goals Make continuous improvement a daily goal Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read, understand and follow detailed work instructions, process & procedures, keep an even workflow Examine and clean components for use, noticeable wear, damage & defects, understand quality standards Help the department in many different roles and areas, take on responsibilities and learn equipment Verify & perform quality checks to ensure parts and components are correct and within standards Operate and perform work using a verity of equipment, tools and machines (manual, hydraulic, pneumatic) Keep department clean of trash, loose debris and dirt, sweep and mop job areas throughout the day Assist others within the department, be able to work as a team, work overtime when needed Follow directions and perform all work assigned from supervisors and managers, be proactive and helpful Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily Embrace ETE Reman’s Core Values Qualifications Ability to properly take and read various gages and dimensions, able to follow oral and written instructions Mechanical background, past machine shop and automotive parts experience preferred Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, ability to bend, twist, pull & push Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and may have to work with chemicals Skill of working with your hands, multiple types of tools, fixtures, gages and other instruments Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day and under pressure at times Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills Self-starting and motivation; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
