IT Security Auditor

Job Title: IT Security Auditor Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 in office days a week Working Location: Indianapolis, IN Pay Range: $114,400 - $185,900 annually Job Description Rolls‑Royce is looking for an IT Security Auditor to join the Cyber Security, Risk and Compliance team. The role involves performing assessment activities to identify weaknesses and policy violations in IT systems and applications, creating action plans to mitigate risks and prevent future breaches, collaborating with other Security Auditors and Information Assurance Specialists to maintain a common audit approach, and traveling up to 10% domestically or internationally. Responsibilities Support the Head of Cyber Security Policy & Compliance in identifying and planning cyber security audits across the IT Function, within business areas, our IT supply chain, and third‑party suppliers. Conduct audits and provide timely reports. Develop corrective action plans with target system owners to improve cyber security posture. Analyze audit results to identify trends and inform improvements to policy, process, procedure, or technology. Present findings to senior management and other stakeholders. Support the wider cyber security team, including work on the cyber culture program. Assist in developing and defining Information Security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures aligned with the ISO 27000 framework. Qualifications Associate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 7+ years of Cyber Audit experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 5+ years of Cyber Audit experience, or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 3+ years of Cyber Audit experience, or PhD in Computer Science or Information Technology, or 9+ years of Cyber Audit experience in lieu of a degree. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Requirements Degree or MSc in Information Security. CISSP or CISM certification. Experience with Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud platforms. CMMC experience.
