Professional Sales Representative - Cabinetry or countertop sales

A well-established employee-owned provider of cabinetry, countertops, and interior solutions, is seeking a Professional Sales Representative - Residential to join their team in Lincoln, NE. This is an opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional to grow a residential territory, build lasting relationships with homeowners and construction professionals, and earn meaningful uncapped commissions while becoming an employee-owner.

The role combines consultative sales, business development, estimating, and project coordination. You'll work directly with homeowners, builders, remodelers, and contractors to understand their projects, develop the right solutions, and turn those relationships into repeat business.

What You'll Do as the Professional Sales Representative - Residential:

• Develop new residential business throughout the Lincoln market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, builders, remodelers, contractors, designers, and referral partners
• Guide customers through cabinetry, countertop, and related interior product options
• Prepare accurate estimates, quotes, proposals, and product recommendations
• Review residential plans and project requirements to ensure accurate pricing and scope
• Consistently follow up on leads, open proposals, and active opportunities to drive sales
• Build a healthy pipeline through referrals, networking, existing relationships, and proactive business development
• Manage customer relationships throughout the sales and project lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal design and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale through project execution
• Stay current on product offerings, residential design trends, competitors, and activity throughout the local market
• Manage multiple customers, proposals, and projects while maintaining strong service and attention to detail

Must-Haves as the Professional Sales Representative - Residential:

• Proven sales experience within cabinetry, countertops, closets, kitchen and bath, building products, or similar residential interior products
• Experience selling directly to homeowners, builders, remodelers, contractors, or other residential customers
• Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and maintain repeat customer relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
• Ability to accurately manage estimates, proposals, and multiple active opportunities
• Self-motivated approach with the ability to independently manage customer relationships and a sales territory
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed

Nice-to-Haves as the Professional Sales Representative - Residential:

• Cabinetry or countertop sales experience
• Experience reading and scaling residential blueprints
• Kitchen and bath design or interior space-planning experience
• Existing relationships with Lincoln-area builders, remodelers, contractors, designers, or residential customers
• Established book of business or referral network
• Experience with 2020 Design, Cyncly, ProKitchen, or similar design software

The Company Offers:

• Base salary of $65,000-$100,000, depending on experience
• Expected first-year OTE of $125,000-$160,000
