Desktop Refresh Technician - Honolulu - On Site - Up To $25/hr

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist with a large-scale Windows 11 deployment for a leading financial institution. This role will focus on imaging devices, deploying upgraded systems, and supporting end users through the transition.

The ideal candidate is a desktop support professional who is comfortable working independently, adaptable to a flexible schedule, and eager to gain experience on a high-impact enterprise project.

Responsibilities

• Image and configure desktops and laptops for Windows 11 deployment

• Deploy upgraded devices to end users and provide onsite support

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during and after deployment

• Support user migrations and assist pilot/test groups

• Ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to new environments

• Document activities and updates within internal systems

• Provide excellent customer service during all user interactions

Top Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with device imaging and deployment

• Strong desktop support experience (hardware/software troubleshooting)

• Experience supporting user migrations or device rollouts

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (daytime imaging, evening deployments)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

Additional Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

• Windows 11 deployment experience is a plus, but not required

This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
