ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON

The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients in a primarily outpatient-based clinic and Acute Care Hospital. This is a great opportunity for someone to build a practice with the biggest healthcare system in the Imperial Valley area. The ideal candidate will be experienced, but new grads are encouraged to apply. We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon focusing on joints including anterior hips. Provide care diagnoses, treats, and operates on patients with musculoskeletal issues or injuries . Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients. Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or Board Eligible in Orthopedics
• Valid California medical license
• Fellowship training preferred
• Demonstrated competence in providing prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Direct experience in programmatic development is preferable

Pay Range

Experience based and potential for loan forgiveness.
