Fleet & Operations Administrator

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Fleet & Operations Administrator. Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day fleet support process, including vehicle assignments, maintenance, repairs, licensing, registration, fuel programs, and vehicle replacements
• Assist with rental car management and other temporary transportation needs
• Maintain accurate fleet data, records, reports, and performance metrics
• Support compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards related to fleet operations
• Coordinate with internal teams including Compliance, Legal, Procurement, Safety, Operations, and field leadership to resolve fleet-related issues
• Coordinate with fleet vendors, dealerships, leasing companies, maintenance providers, rental car agencies, and other service providers
• Manage vendor communications, service requests, and vendor alert programs
• Maintain organized documentation related to vendors, contracts, services, and fleet activity
• Manage uniform inventory, ordering, distribution, replacement, and vendor coordination
• Ensure employees receive appropriate uniforms in a timely manner and in accordance with company standards
• Track uniform issuance, inventory usage, program costs, and related data
• Identify opportunities to improve program efficiency, service quality, and cost effectiveness
• Administer and support the company's safety shoe program
• Coordinate with approved vendors to ensure employees have access to compliant and quality safety footwear
• Create and track KPIs related to fleet, uniforms, safety footwear, and other operational programs
• Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership regarding program performance, budgets, expenses, and improvement opportunities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management for assigned programs
• Maintain accurate data and documentation across all assigned programs
• Provide general administrative and operational support as needed
• Prior fleet administration or fleet support experience required
• Experience with MVRs, vehicle assignments, fleet compliance, and maintenance programs strongly preferred
• Strong administrative and data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience coordinating with multiple internal departments and external vendors
• Strong vendor management and communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other systems used for tracking fleet and operational data
• Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle a high volume of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
