An associate lecturer/lecturer/senior lecturer is hired on a per-course basis each semester, and teaching one semester does not guarantee being assigned the following semester. The teaching hours for an associate lecturer/lecturer/senior lecturer will vary with a teaching load ranging between 1-12 credits per semester. Key Job Responsibilities Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction Department The School of Health Sciences and Wellness has over 1300 students and offers 8 undergraduate majors, 8 graduate degree programs, and several certificate programs. Compensation The Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is a part-time, salaried, exempt, academic year (9-month), instructional academic staff position. Required Qualifications Registered dietitian nutritionist with a master’s degree and significant recent experience in clinical nutrition from diverse areas of practice.
