Job OverviewWe are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our team! In this role, you will be the heart of the bar experience, creating memorable moments for guests through exceptional service, expert drink mixing, and a lively atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.
DutiesPrepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems (JONAS)
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining excellent time management skills.
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at bars or during catering events like banquets or private parties.
Support the team during busy nights at nightclubs or special events such as weddings or corporate functions.
Demonstrate knowledge of beverage ingredients, brewing processes, and cocktail recipes to provide recommendations to guests.
Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
Requirements Previous Bartending Experience RequiredFamiliarity with POS system Jonas a plus
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices.
Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math accuracy.
Previous experience with serving at catering events
Basic understanding of food handling procedures and beverage preparation techniques.
Experience working in hospitality environments such as restaurants or retail settings is beneficial.
Must be 21 years or older with valid certifications (Basset) and for food handling and responsible alcohol service where applicable.
