Receptionist

Position: Receptionist Location: Abundant Life Church, Indiana – Peru Campus Position Type: Part‑time, hourly Reports to: Campus Administrator Position Summary A receptionist is the first point of contact at the offices of Abundant Life Church. They maintain a professional and welcoming environment while multitasking to ensure smooth office operations. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling administrative tasks such as mail, filing, and ordering supplies. Key Responsibilities Visitor management—greet guests, check them in, and direct them to the correct staff member or conference room. Communication—answer, screen, and forward phone calls, and handle office correspondence including mail and packages. Scheduling of events—schedule, maintain forms, and collect payments for events. Administrative support—perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, data entry, and maintaining office records. Office maintenance—keep the reception area tidy, monitor and order office supplies, and coordinate with maintenance staff when needed. Required Skills and Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with visitors and callers. Professional attitude, attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
