Industry: CNC Machine Tools & Manufacturing Technology

An established machine tool organization is expanding its sales presence in the Greenville/Upstate South Carolina market and is seeking a driven Sales Representative to develop and grow the territory.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC or machine tool salesperson, as well as a strong industrial or manufacturing sales professional interested in transitioning into machine tool sales.

What You'll Do

• Develop new business throughout Greenville and the surrounding Upstate manufacturing market

• Build relationships with manufacturers, machine shops, OEMs and other industrial customers

• Identify machining and production challenges and connect customers with the appropriate equipment and technical solutions

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity development through proposal and close

• Work closely with Applications Engineering, Automation, Service and other technical resources throughout the sales process

• Develop long-term relationships with engineering, operations, plant management, purchasing and ownership-level contacts

• Maintain an active pipeline while consistently developing new accounts and opportunities

• Travel throughout the territory to meet with customers and prospects

What We're Looking For

• B2B sales experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, capital equipment or a related technical market

• Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated success developing new business

• Comfortable prospecting and building a territory rather than solely managing existing accounts

• Ability to understand technical products and communicate effectively with manufacturing and engineering customers

• Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills

• Existing relationships within the Greenville/Upstate manufacturing community are highly desirable

• CNC machine tool sales experience is preferred but not required

Relevant backgrounds may include CNC/machine tools, cutting tools, tooling and workholding, industrial automation, robotics, metrology, manufacturing equipment or other technical products sold into manufacturing environments.

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission and monthly car allowance. xhyhwjd
