About the Opportunity

A leading global luxury retail organization is seeking a Director of Procurement to lead procurement strategy across the Americas region. This role will serve as a key business partner to senior leadership, driving sourcing initiatives, supplier performance, cost optimization, and operational excellence across multiple spend categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional indirect procurement strategies aligned with global objectives.
• Lead sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier selection, and procurement initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Drive cost savings, process improvements, and value creation across the organization.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Operations, Marketing, Facilities, and Retail.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, compliance, and risk management programs.
• Lead and develop a regional procurement team.
• Monitor procurement KPIs and provide reporting and insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of indirect procurement experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Proven success working in complex, matrixed, multinational organizations.
• Experience in luxury, fashion, retail, or consumer-facing industries strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
