Good luck!Reports To: Trucking ManagerHours: Full TimeSUMMARYCommercial Licensed Driver (CDL) Driver must have a basic working knowledge of construction projects and must have a full understanding of the operations of the trucks and trailers he/she is assigned to.DUTIESAdhere to the company's safety and health policy while following all safety regulations and precautionsOperate the equipment in a safe and productive manner, always wearing the safety beltAdhere to DOT regulationsReceive and follow directions from immediate supervisor in a professional mannerPerform the daily maintenance requirements on the equipment as required/requested (i.e. greasing, small repairs, etc.)Work together as a team to complete the taskBe prepared for all weather conditions (proper clothing, gloves, etc.)Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, filling out forms daily and submitting them to the dispatcherStrive to avoid situations where the truck may get stuck or damagedKeep the inside of the truck cleanLoad truck with loader as requiredModify speeds and driving in accordance with weather and road conditionsDrive truck to jobs and successfully completes customer requests in a professional and timely mannerAccurately complete work tickets with correct job numbers, lease names, load times, unload times, miles traveled, drive time, wait time, material quantities, and other information as requiredComplete daily logs and submit them to the dispatcher each dayTurn in fuel tickets and load tickets dailyReport maintenance problems with each use until fixedREQUIREMENTSDemonstrated commitment to safety as expressed in JMAC Resources corporate value People First, Safety Always2 year experience working as a Class A Truck DriverValid US Issued Commercial Driver's LicenseUnderstand DOT regulationsClean driving recordMedical CardKnowledge of the operation of the truck and trailers (belly dumps, side dumps and pup) that the company uses in its daily operationsPhysical ability lift and carry 50 poundsPhone that can reach you at all times, day or nightAvailability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredAbility to work safely in all types of weatherAbility to crawl under truck for inspection and greasing as requiredAbility to clean material out from box or trailer with shovelAbility to lift hood, check oil and coolant levels and all other inspection functions dailyPhysically able to climb up and down loaders and other equipment in use at our pitsStandard RequirementsDemonstrated commitment to safety as expressed in JMAC Energy Services corporate value People First, Safety AlwaysValid US issued driver's license with a good driving recordAbility to pass background and drug and alcohol testsAvailability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredAbility to work safely in all types of weatherTimely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all JMAC Energy Services employees.
