Senior Program Manager

Job Title: Senior Program Manager Location: Melbourne, FL Employment Type: Direct Hire Industry: Appliance, Electrical, and Electronics Compensation: $115-140k /year. Schedule: 40 hrs/Week. Overview Senior Program Manager has oversight for the cost‑effective delivery of highly complex electronics manufacturing projects for the commercial and aerospace & defense industries. Incumbent will manage cross‑functional operations teams to ensure that customers’ product cost, quality, and availability goals are achieved. Position has overall responsibility and authority for contract performance, day‑to‑day management and support functions, and ensures resources are properly allocated to support customer schedules. Responsibilities Accountable for all commercial aspects of the program (receivables, ECO costing, excess and obsolete inventory, material and manufacturing statuses). Interface with the customer and act as first‑line contact for requests and issues. Maintain synergy among all departments to achieve maximum customer results. Generate program budgets and manage within agreed allocations. Responsible for quarterly/annual customer revenue projections and for ensuring sufficient contractual order covers are in place. Work with sales organization and customer to facilitate completion of a manufacturing agreement. Formulate, organize and track customer NPI tasks and actions. Provide customer feedback metrics, as appropriate. Conduct team meetings, document action items and keep team apprised of customer concerns. Assist in ensuring programs are appropriately staffed to meet customer requirements and client business needs. Support the Continuous Improvement process by ensuring Customer Support Team participation in Quality Teams, reviewing and implementing ECOs, driving New Product Introductions (NPIs) and following through on Corrective Action Requests (CARs). Develop, review, and modify NPI procedures, as needed. Ensure the process is followed. Review pricing and all changes with finance. Support Sales and Marketing. Coordinate quoting activity for changes to existing products or new business from existing customers. Participate in internal ISO audits. Train and mentor other employees. Support MRB analysis and disposition of non‑conforming material processes. Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in Electrical contract manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. 8+ years of program management experience in an electronics or aerospace manufacturing environment. PMP Certification. Proficiency supporting high‑volume, system assembly surface‑mount technology (SMT) manufacturing operation. Experience in an international, multi‑plant contract manufacturing environment. Demonstrated leadership skills in a highly dynamic manufacturing environment. Good customer focus with a hands‑on team approach. Outstanding negotiation skills. Excellent organizational ability. Clear communication ability to articulate responsibilities, provide vision, and gain buy‑in. Ability to hold people accountable by assigning roles, monitoring deadlines, and achieving results. Ability to identify risks and provide mitigation plans – design creative solutions to meet company and customer goals concurrently. Familiarity with ERP systems (SyteLine). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Additional Information Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
