RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in New Jersey, and RWJ University Hospital Somerset are seeking a full‑time, BC/BE Neurologist to join our multidisciplinary team as part of the RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a robust neurology practice with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, serving a diverse patient population with a wide range of neurological conditions. Position Overview Provide comprehensive neurological care, including general adult neurology, stroke, epilepsy, encephalopathy, headache, neuromuscular disorders, and movement disorders. Responsibilities include inpatient consults, hospital rounds, EEG interpretation, and collaborative coverage with other RWJBH neurologists. This position also offers opportunities for teaching, mentorship, clinical trials, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Salary: $315,000 to $400,000 per year (depending on educational background, skills, and professional experience). Key Responsibilities Provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Diagnose and treat a variety of neurological disorders. Perform and interpret neurological diagnostic tests, including EEGs. Prescribe and manage treatment plans, medications, and supportive services. Collaborate with Advanced Practice Nurses and support their training and development. Participate in practice coverage and rotating call schedule. Engage in clinical research and quality improvement projects. Educate residents, fellows, students, and APPs. Attend and contribute to departmental, hospital, and stroke performance improvement committee meetings.
