Full-Time Physical Therapist for Sports and Rehabilitation Center

Work Environment

This role is located onsite in our rehabilitation facility in Albany, NY. Working closely with a team of two other physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will thrive in a supportive environment designed to encourage innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning. Our work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while being fully invested in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify specific objectives and required treatments tailored to their needs.
• Manage patient caseload efficiently at a rate of 1 patient per hour while ensuring high-quality care and open communication.
• Develop comprehensive and cost-effective treatment plans using a variety of physical therapy techniques to improve patients' motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Implement personalized fitness and wellness programs based on individual patient assessments aimed at achieving optimal health outcomes.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens designed to restore function and enhance quality of life.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, thereby optimizing treatment effectiveness.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and the effectiveness of treatments while adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Thoroughly document treatments and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Klarity Health primarily serves a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from surgeries, athlete injuries, and those with chronic pain conditions. Our focus on a patient-centered approach ensures that each treatment plan reflects the unique challenges and aspirations of every patient, enabling them to navigate their recovery journey effectively.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• Maintained a clean record with no instances of disciplinary measures against the license.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient environment is highly desirable.
• Proficient in developing individualized exercise regimens that address diverse patient needs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
