Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
• Configure and maintain security systems to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness against emerging threats.
• Develop and implement security automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency in security operations.
• Respond to security alerts, conduct forensic analysis of security incidents, and provide technical recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure security best practices are embedded in system design and deployment.
• Stay current with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a security engineer or in a similar technical security role.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network security devices and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security automation.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, or equivalent are advantageous.
