The Assistant Manager assists the Above Store Leader with hiring, scheduling, barista training, completing managerial paperwork tasks, and running a clean, efficiently operating store. This role also serves as the managerial point of contact when the Store’s Manager is off shift. (This includes the expectation of being consistently available) The Assistant Manager is a vital aspect in maintaining a positive culture of loving our Baristas and customers and exemplifies Scooter’s Coffee core values. COMPENSATION Competitive Hourly Pay + Tips, Employee Discounts, Bonuses QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Must be organized and detail oriented Must have the ability to lead and motivate a team Must have a positive and professional demeanor and the ability to convey a positive atmosphere amongst the staff Must have the ability to clearly communicate Prior leadership experience preferred, but no prior Scooter’s experience or Barista experience necessary. Can work up to 40 hours a week but this is an hourly position, not salary.
