Operations Financial AnalystEaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Operations Financial Analyst at a manufacturing site supporting the rapidly growing demand for four product lines in Asheville, NC. This is a Full Time role working onsite, M-F Daylight hours. This role will report directly to the Plant Finance Leader (Controller). This role is a financial professional who specializes in analyzing financial data and providing insights related to the operations of the site. This role involves working closely with both the finance and operations teams to support decision-making and optimize financial performance within the operational functions.The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:Job Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Operations Senior Financial Analyst include:Participating in the month-end closing process and financial forecasting in accordance with US GAAP standards, supporting compliance and auditsAnalyzing financial data and performance metrics related to operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Partner with the designated team to streamline and automate segmentation reporting and visualizations for key front-end metrics.Analyzing operational and financial data, investigating variances, identifying business drivers, and evaluating their impact on planned objectives. Prepare meaningful variance analysis commentary for management.Performing monthly analysis of P&L accounts. Reviewing and resolving variances.Maintaining the fixed asset register, supporting Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs), and tracking open capital projects to ensure timely execution.Supporting data gathering, analyzing, and consolidation of the annual profit plan while serving as a liaison between budget owners and finance.Analyzing and interpreting financial data related to operational costs to provide valuable insights to management, enabling informed decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall financial performance.Supporting inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability and cash flow. In addition, prepare for and participate in the annual physical inventory.Supporting the plant finance manager with various audits, including internal audits, external audits, CSC, and SOX audits.Participating in Rapid Improvement Events (RIE) and other operational activities such as gemba walks, audits, and related initiatives.Supporting other business needs as the role evolves with business requirements.Qualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in accounting or financeMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now and in the future.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 70-mile radius of the facility listed will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Preferred:Computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Power BIExperience with ERP Systems (Oracle/SAP/ Encore / MAPICs) is a plus.Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders to ensure that financial insights are understood and acted upon by the operations team.Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skillsHighly motivated, highly analytical and self-starterAbility to lead teams and work cross functionally.
