Permanent Pathologists' Assistant

Allied Search Partners is back by two decades of healthcare staffing excellence. Offering long term/permanent placement, temporary and filling in/coverage staffing.

We partner with private organizations and corporate healthcare organizations to provide reliable, well-supported temporary and permanent professionalswhile prioritizing fair pay, consistency, and respect for our workers' time. Our team offers 24/7 scheduling support and access to shifts through our efficient temp scheduling application. Unlike traditional staffing agencies that push one-off shifts to large candidate pools, we focus on long-term relationships with both our healthcare facilities and our workers. In addition to our temporary/emergency coverage staffing, we offer long term permanent specialized recruitment in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate gross dissection and detailed description of surgical specimens across the full case spectrum - from routine biopsies to complex cancer resections
  • Specimen processing and submission for histologic processing and special studies
  • Rotate between privately owned laboratory (primary grossing site) and hospital lab, ensuring broad, balanced clinical exposure
  • Collaborate closely with pathologists and technical staff to maintain quality and workflow efficiency
  • Contribute to lab workflow coordination and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an NAACLS/ASCP-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program
  • PA(ASCP) certification or eligibility to sit for the board exam
  • Ability to work cooperatively within diverse clinical environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build positive working relationships with pathologists and technical staff
