Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Position Summary This position will require relocation to our corporate office in Greensboro, NC. The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading the overall sales, marketing and business development strategies across the hotel portfolio. This role drives top-line revenue growth through strategic leadership, market analysis, brand positioning, customer engagement, and team development while ensuring alignment with company objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute portfolio-wide sales and marketing strategies, annual budgets, and business plans to achieve revenue goals. Lead and mentor sales leaders across group, corporate, consortia, and leisure segments, fostering a high-performance culture and talent development. Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies. Partner with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, distribution, channel mix, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and total revenue performance. Oversee marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, CRM programs, and strategic partnerships to increase market share and brand awareness. Manage corporate, group and consortia business development, including account management, RFP strategies, trade marketing programs, and industry partnerships. Direct participation in key industry events, trade shows, client engagements, and networking organizations. Ensure effective use of sales, reservation, and distribution systems, including Delphi, Demand 360, etc. Lead quarterly action plans, sales reporting, forecasting, and performance reviews. Proficient in hospitality technology and revenue management platforms, including PEP, Opera PMS, Power of M, Lighthouse and Kalibri Labs. Collaborate with General Managers and corporate leadership to support property-level and portfolio-wide objectives. Establish performance standards, accountability measures, and incentive programs to drive team productivity and results. Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent while building a strong leadership pipeline for future growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. Minimum 15 years of progressive sales leadership experience within hospitality, including strategic sales, brand development, and revenue growth responsibilities. Demonstrated success managing group, corporate, consortia, and hotel sales segments. Strong industry network and established customer relationships. Experience developing and managing budgets, marketing plans, and revenue strategies. Proven ability to build, coach, and lead high-performing sales teams. Strong analytical, financial, organizational, and project management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Opera, and hospitality sales systems. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Knowledge of current hospitality industry trends, distribution channels, and market dynamics. #J-18808-Ljbffr CN Hotels
