FPGA Design Engineer

Responsibilities Design, implement, integrate, and test digital systems specifically regarding FPGA technology. Develop Verilog, VHDL, and HDL designs for FPGAs. Modify and/or design special purpose, custom RF System on a Chip (RFSoC) boards for real-time, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) missile integration. Troubleshooting and test support as needed. Other responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications & Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution required. 3-5 years of demonstrated experience is required. Highly qualified engineers with related work experience may be considered. Xilinx RFSoC experience is preferred, and/or experience with high-speed ADCs/DACs and FPGAs. Strong FPGA design experience in VHDL or Verilog. Strong DSP background using FPGAs. Digital filter design and DDS experience required. Experience using PCIe, DDR RAM, multi-gigabit serial, and ethernet protocols with FPGAs and microprocessors. Knowledge of basic serial communication protocols, UART, I2C, SPI, 8B10B. Mixed signal PCB design experience. Proficient with the use of basic test equipment, oscilloscopes, function generators, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers.
