Our success depends on having the right tools and resources available at all times. As a Central Supply Clerk, you will be the backbone of our supply chain, ensuring that all medical and operational supplies are stocked and ready for use when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining an accurate inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment to meet facility needs
• Organizing and storing supplies in an orderly and accessible manner
• Distributing supplies and equipment to departments as requested, ensuring proper documentation and tracking
• Assisting with ordering and receiving supplies from vendors, processing invoices, and managing inventory records
• Performing routine inspections of supply areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with facility standards
• Collaborating with the nursing and administrative teams to forecast supply needs and prevent shortages
• Maintaining compliance with infection control policies and procedures while handling supplies

Qualifications of a Central Supply Clerk include:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff and vendors
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
