Enjoy local routes, daily home time, competitive pay, and a supportive culture built on safety and respect.Responsibilities and QualificationsKey ResponsibilitiesVehicle OperationSafely operates company vehicles, including up to 26' trucks, in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulationsConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthinessDeliver materials to customer project sites on time, providing excellent customer serviceAdditional training such as Forklift, and other specified equipment may be requiredBasic understanding and knowledge of the operation of a forklift and other equipmentDelivery & Customer ServiceUnload materials at delivery locations and verify deliveries against packing slipsEnsure deliveries are handled professionally and courteously, always representing the company positivelyThe ability to unload, protect, move and stage materials as specified by customer directiveBasic understanding and knowledge of building materialsSafetyAdheres to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbeltMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environmentFollow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environmentUse proper lifting techniquesWear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothingCommunicationMust attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall companyTraining RequirementsAttend and participate in all required company training programsPhysical Job RequirementsFrequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulationFrequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a dayOccasionally lift and/or move 80 lbs. and climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbsPushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces.
