Inventory Control Specialist – HousekeepingThe Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing the inventory for the entire housekeeping department, ensuring all supplies, equipment, and materials are properly tracked, maintained, and available to support daily operations.• Inventory all cleaning, operating, and guest supplies for the housekeeping department• Oversee cleanliness and organization of chemical storage, dry storage, and vacuum rooms• Perform vacuum repairs and maintenance as needed• Maintain and manage all vendor relationships and communications• Conduct monthly price checks on all products to ensure cost efficiency• Advise management on cost saving products, alternatives, or operational procedures• Test and evaluate all new products and equipment prior to implementation• Ensure compliance with all OSHA requirements, including maintaining MSDS sheets and proper labeling• Adhere to all Housekeeping procedures, policies, and operational standards• Perform other related duties as assignedWill supervise team members who interact with chemicals, cleaning supplies, and vacuum equipment.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
