Facility Details

Location: Worthington Medical Center

Shift Options:

• Weekend Only: Work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, two out of three weekends.
• Variable Shifts: Options include 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with two out of three weekends.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) will:

• Utilize the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver personalized care to patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to develop and assess care plans.
• Demonstrate nursing competency and adhere to age and population-specific standards in the clinical environment.
• Provide care across all stages of preventive health, maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate patient care, conduct assessments, educate patients, triage, and perform various nursing interventions.
• Operate within the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act and relevant administrative rules.
• Uphold the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association.

Qualifications

We are seeking RNs who meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of six months of travel nursing experience.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by organizations such as the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
• Possession of an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the practice area, or multistate licensure if applicable.

Contract Details

Contracts are for 14 weeks, with the possibility of extension or transfer to another site. Weekly pay includes a stipend.
