Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Buyer. This is an on-site position located at our Jonesville, SC facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing procurement activities to support plant production requirements. You will manage end-to-end purchase order execution, supplier coordination, logistics, and material planning to ensure on-time delivery, inventory optimization, and alignment with business objectives.

• Manage purchase orders from placement through closure, including accuracy, acknowledgments, updates, and issue resolution.

• Execute order management activities, including pricing, delivery date management, PO tracking, and risk mitigation.

• Monitor supplier commitments and proactively address supply disruptions.

• Monitor and communicate supply status, constraints, and recovery plans to stakeholders.

• Ensure orders align with approved parts, MOQ, packaging, lead times, demand forecasts and other related parameters.

• Manage Supplier Price Increase Requests (SPIR) and ensure proper review and approval processes.

• Coordinate logistics and transportation activities to ensure efficient and timely material delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support DMR/RMA processes and supplier-related quality issues.

• Manage supplier relationship and performance to support cost, quality, delivery, and service objectives.

• Maintain purchasing records, including pricing, price breaks, supplier contracts, and procurement-related documentation.

• Support supplier selection and procurement activities by issuing RFQs, reviewing supplier quotations, negotiating pricing and terms to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.

• Participate in special projects and supply chain improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration OR High School Diploma/GED with minimum 10 years manufacturing experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MRP Planning, Purchasing and/or other Supply Chain related areas within a manufacturing environment.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP.

• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Jonesville, SC to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications: • APICS CPIM or related supply chain professional certifications.

• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
