Financial Services Consulting Manager - Business Transformation – Payments Location: New York, Charlotte, Chicago, San Francisco, and Dallas, United States As a Financial Services Consulting Manager focused on business transformation within the payments space, you will partner with global clients to deliver solutions that enable real‑time, straight‑through payment connectivity. You will lead end‑to‑end projects, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, build strong client relationships, and help shape EY’s thought leadership in payments. Responsibilities Lead projects end‑to‑end to solve real‑world payment challenges, including wires, cross‑border payments, and emerging capabilities such as on‑chain correspondent banking. Collaborate with diverse teams and clients, fostering innovation and inclusive work environments. Build strong client relationships and deliver solutions that drive measurable impact. Mentor and coach junior team members. Stay ahead of industry trends and help shape EY’s thought leadership in payments. Qualifications 6-8+ years of experience in payments, banking or financial services consulting, with deep knowledge of clearing and settlement, SWIFT, FedWire, CHIPs, ACH, payments infrastructure, treasury and cash management. Hands‑on experience with regulatory requirements and payments modernization initiatives and change management. Strong interest or experience in enabling global 24/7/365 payments capabilities. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Proven leadership experience and project management skills. Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally. Base salary range for this role: $128,400 to $235,300 in the United States; $154,000 to $267,400 in New York City metro area, Washington, and California (excluding Sacramento).
