Mechanical Installation Assembler

Join a growing team assembling custom components on John Deere construction and agricultural equipment. Responsibilities include installing parts and kits, following detailed work instructions, and ensuring quality and safety standards. Use hand and power tools to complete builds while working independently or with a team. Candidates should have at least 1 year of mechanical experience, be able to read instructions, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various positions. Full-time schedule with overtime as needed; forklift or crane experience is a plus.

Temporary position

$ 25.00 to $ 29.00 / hour

Full Time work available

First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)

• Install and assemble custom parts and components on heavy equipment Follow detailed work instructions and procedures to ensure quality builds
• Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools for assembly tasks
• Perform proper torqueing of bolts, fittings, and hydraulic connections
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Work independently or with a team to complete projects on schedule

High school diploma or equivalent required

At least 1 year of mechanical or assembly experience

Ability to read and interpret work instructions and diagrams

Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

Skilled in using hand, power, and air tools

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or on a team

Ability to provide basic tools; forklift or crane experience preferred
