Expanding Preschool - Hiring teachers in multiple classrooms- FT/PT available.

Our Preschool and Daycare are EXPANDING! We are growing and we are so excited! We're looking for fun and enthusiastic Preschool and Daycare Teachers to care for children, have fun with the kids, and help them thrive! Our classes are split by age and range from infancy to 5 years old. At Tower Grove Christian Academy, our children are always doing fun and creative activities and we need teachers to help support them as they grow and learn!

Expectations for our teachers include:

• Create/Follow a curriculum that helps support the whole child's growth.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
• Guide the children in personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
• Keep open communication with parents throughout the day, including written observations about children’s behavior, development, and health.
• Work cooperatively with other teachers and staff.
• Be familiar with school policies, standards, and protocols.
• Attend staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training to maintain and improve professional competence. 12 clock hours per year.

Requirements:

• Share the school's belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Child Development Association Certificate (preferred but not required).
• Associate’s Degree or higher (preferred but not required).
• 2 years of experience in a childcare setting (preferred but not required).
• Ability to maintain current CPR and 1st aid certifications.
• Ability to pass Criminal Record Background Clearance with no exemptions.
• Maintain physical ability and health to complete daily responsibilities.

Schedule and Salary Range:

• Hours of work and schedule are based upon program needs (Tower Grove Christian Preschool is open Monday-Friday 6 am-6 pm).
• $14.00 to $16.00 per hour.
