Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Berlin, VT

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: This position operates on an 8-hour evening shift with weekend on-call responsibilities. The on-call rotation typically occurs every 4th-5th weekend from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Job Description: The Ultrasound Technologist will perform various ultrasound examinations, including general and vascular, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. The role requires proficiency in scanning techniques and patient interactions while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Document and report imaging results accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to review and discuss imaging techniques and outcomes.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of unit experience in ultrasound.
• Current RVT and ARDMS (AB or OB) credentials are required.
• Experience with EPIC documentation within the last 2 years is mandatory.
• Ability to perform contrast injections as needed.
