Expo/Food Runner

Hill Country Herb Garden is seeking a weekend Expo/Food runner to join our growing team! We are open Tuesday through Sunday serving upscale, casual food and are seeking a part time weekend warrior to join our team! Shifts for this position would be Friday evening, Saturday Brunch, Saturday Dinner, and Sunday Brunch. Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Expo/Food runner earn $15/hour plus tips and are responsible coordinating *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Serve as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. * Ensure all dishes are prepared according to restaurant standards and plated correctly. * Communicate clearly with chefs and servers regarding food status and any special requests or allergies. * Expedite food orders during busy service periods to maintain flow and order accuracy. * Run food from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner. * Check completed orders for accuracy, presentation, and temperature. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and food running stations. * Assist in restocking service areas and maintaining a clean work environment. * Provide exceptional guest service by being courteous, attentive, and responsive to guest needs. * Support team members by helping with other duties as needed. * Support with events as needed. * Support in bussing as needed. xmcpwfu *QUALIFICATIONS:* * Team player with a positive attitude and desire to learn * Texas Food Handlers Certification * Detail and quality oriented * Passionate about hospitality * Ability to walk and work in a standing position for long periods of time * Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
