LPN Unit Manager

Fayette Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and experienced LPN Unit Manager to oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit. The Unit Manager will provide clinical leadership to nursing staff while ensuring residents receive safe, quality, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit

• Supervise, support, and provide direction to nursing staff

• Monitor resident care to ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies

• Complete and oversee accurate clinical documentation

• Monitor changes in residents' conditions and ensure appropriate follow-up

• Participate in care planning and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

• Assist with staff education, training, and performance management

• Monitor infection prevention, quality measures, and regulatory compliance

• Address clinical concerns and help resolve resident and family concerns

• Assist with maintaining appropriate staffing and workflow on the unit

• Promote a safe, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

• Perform other nursing and leadership duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current, active Maryland LPN license

• Previous long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred

• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to lead, coach, and work effectively with nursing staff

• Knowledge of nursing standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements

• Commitment to providing high-quality resident care
